Five and a half inches across, two inches deep, ten fluid ounces, in the colour a breakfast service defaults to because this bowl suits cereal with milk, porridge, fruit and yoghurt equally.

Against the thirteen-ounce NS-306 it is about a quarter inch narrower and takes three fewer ounces — close enough in appearance that a kitchen will usually stock one or the other rather than both. The deep well also means it holds heat for hot cereal better than a wide shallow dish would, and the steep side gives a spoon something to work against instead of chasing a portion round a flat base.
