Yanco NS-209Y Nessico Melamine 9-1/2" x 6-3/4" Rectangular Plate, Yellow — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Rectangles stack differently from rounds and store more efficiently on a shelf of the same depth, which is part of why this 9-1/2 by 6-3/4 inch plate turns up in tight cafe kitchens. The flat half-inch profile means a stack of two dozen stands barely taller than a hand span.

Yellow is a signalling colour on a counter - a grab-and-go display, a kids' menu, a themed service where the ware is meant to be seen. The melamine body takes the knocks that a self-service counter delivers. It is the small rectangle in the Nessico run; NS-211 and NS-212 continue the same shape at serving size.
