Yanco NS-209G Nessico Melamine 9-1/2" x 6-3/4" Rectangular Plate, Green — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Green is the colour Nessico uses when a plate has to be identified across a room. On a cafeteria line or a tray-return belt it separates one station, one shift or one dietary route from the next without anyone reading a label. The shape underneath is the 9-1/2 by 6-3/4 inch rectangle the series builds around, half an inch deep, with no well and a flat usable face from edge to edge.

Nine and a half inches on the long side keeps this inside plate territory rather than serving territory, so it goes down in front of one diner: a sandwich and its sides, a composed starter, a hot plate on a set menu. Melamine takes the drops that a self-service counter produces, and the colour runs through the body rather than sitting on top of it, so a chip does not show white. Two dozen to the case, the same count as the tan, white and yellow versions of the same plate.
