Yanco NS-109Y Nessico Melamine 9" Round Dinner Plate, Yellow — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Yellow nine-inch rounds show up in buffet and cafeteria lines where the plate colour is part of the wayfinding. A diner moving along a counter picks up the colour that matches the service they want, and staff can see from the dish return which line a plate came off.

At 3/4 of an inch deep this holds a hot entree with gravy without the food reaching the edge, and the melamine body does not shed heat as fast as a cold ceramic plate, so a meal served at the start of a line is still warm at the till. Twenty-four to the case keeps a single carton to a weight one person can lift.
