Yanco NS-108Y Nessico Melamine 8" Round Dinner Plate, Yellow — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Yellow eight-inch rounds are a school-service staple. The diameter matches a standard child portion, the colour makes the plate easy to find in a mixed stack on a serving line, and the melamine body survives being dropped on a hard floor by someone carrying a full load.

The 5/8-inch depth is the detail that separates this from a side plate - it is enough of a well to hold a saucy entree without a rim so tall that cutlery catches on it. Forty-eight to the case fits the ordering rhythm of a kitchen that replaces plates in bulk at the end of a term rather than piecemeal.
