Yanco NS-107Y Nessico Melamine 7-1/4" Round Dessert Plate, Yellow — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Yellow at 7-1/4 inches is a buffet dessert plate. The colour pulls a diner toward the end of a line, and the size is generous enough to take two pastries or a slice of cake with fruit without a second trip. The 5/8-inch lip keeps a scoop of ice cream from sliding as it is carried.

In high-turnover self-service the survival rate matters more than the finish. Melamine handles the stacking, the dropping and the hot wash that a buffet dessert plate meets several hundred times a month, and the colour is in the body itself rather than laid over it as a glaze, so wear does not show as a worn patch.
