Yanco NR-5 Normandy Chinaware 5-1/2" Bread and Butter Plate, American White — Case of 36 (3 dz)

At 5-1/2" across, the NR-5 is Normandy's bread and butter plate: the piece that sits above and to the left of the cover and takes a roll, a slice of cornbread, or two pats of butter. It is shallow at 1/2" overall, which keeps a stack of three dozen low enough to slide onto an undershelf, and the narrow rim means a dinner roll sits on usable surface rather than on moulding.

Front-of-house teams also run this bread and butter plate as a tasting plate, a check presenter underliner, and a lid for a 4-5/8" bowl in the walk-in. Thirty-six to the case suits the high loss rate that small plates see in a busy dish pit.
