Yanco NC-9014C Accessories (Melamine) Melamine 4" x 2-3/4" Soup Mug Chocolate 12 oz, Brown — Case of 48 (4 dz)

A twelve-ounce soup mug in chocolate melamine, the NC-9014C stands 2-3/4 inches tall on a 4 inch body, giving a full bowl of soup in a form a diner can lift with one hand. Chowder, pho broth, tomato bisque, chilli, oatmeal at breakfast service: the mug shape holds warmth longer than an open bowl and keeps a tray tidier.

Melamine will not shatter when a tray goes over, which is what puts this form in cafeterias, hospital trays and catering vans rather than in a china cabinet. It does not go in a microwave and it does not go in an oven, so soup is ladled in hot rather than heated in the vessel.
