Yanco NC-538RD Accessories (Melamine) Melamine 3-3/8", 4 oz Smooth Ramekin Orange, Red — Case of 72 (6 dz)

The NC-538RD is the four-ounce ramekin in red, 3-3/8 inches across. On a line that colour-codes by heat level or by allergen, the four-ounce red piece gives a spicy side dish its own obvious home: kimchi, harissa carrots, a chilli relish portioned out by the spoonful rather than the drop.

Red pigment in melamine stays saturated through heavy machine washing, where a painted finish would chalk. The body resists the chips and cracks that take china out of service. Heat is the limit, so keep it out of microwaves and ovens entirely.
