Yanco's NC-533B keeps the 3-3/8" rim of the NC-532B but drops the wall to 1-1/2", giving 4 oz in bone white fluted melamine.

A shallower bowl of the same diameter is easier to eat from directly, since a diner's spoon reaches the base without tipping it, which makes this the better pick for crème brûlée, trifle and chilled soup courses served in the ramekin itself. It also stacks lower, so a rack carries more of them per shelf. Bone white keeps the piece in step with ivory-toned china rather than bright porcelain.
