Yanco NC-512I Compartment Collection Melamine 9" 3-Compartment Plate with Deep Beveled Foot, Ivory — Case of 24 (2 dz)

The deep bevelled foot under NC-512I is a small piece of engineering with a practical payoff. It lifts the base clear of the table, gives a thumb somewhere to go when a hot plate is picked up, and nests one piece into the next so a column of them will not slide off a shelf when a trolley takes a corner.

At 9 inches across it is a half-inch tighter than the NC-510I round, which suits a shorter rail or a lighter portion standard, and the three divisions sit in the usual arrangement. A compartment plate with a foot this pronounced also sits more steadily on an overbed table, where the surface is rarely as flat as it looks.
