Yanco NC-511I Compartment Collection Melamine 9-1/2" 3-Compartment Plate with Cup Holder, Ivory — Case of 24 (2 dz)

A recessed cup well on the rim is the whole argument for this piece. The beverage travels on the same surface as the food, so a tray assembled in the kitchen reaches a bedside with nothing tipped over and nothing slid into a corner. One item to carry becomes one item to clear, which is time back at both ends of the trip.

The three food divisions are unchanged from NC-510I and the outside diameter is still 9-1/2 inches, so the two interleave in a stack and occupy the same rack slot. Hospitals and airline caterers reach for the cup version wherever a separate glass would be one more thing to secure. This compartment plate ships two dozen to a case.
