Yanco NC-509RD Accessories (Melamine) Melamine 2-7/8", 2 oz Fluted Ramekin, Red — Case of 72 (6 dz)

Red is the signalling colour in a condiment line, and the NC-509RD puts it on Yanco's 2-7/8", 2 oz fluted ramekin.

Colour-coded service uses it to flag heat — a red pot for the hot sauce, a neutral one for the mild — which removes a question from the pass without a printed label. Melamine takes pigment right through the body, so a knock at the rim shows red rather than a white undercoat. In shape and volume it is identical to the NC-509WT, which lets a room run two coded colours off a single rack footprint.
