Yanco NA-608BK Nature Art Melamine 8" x 3-1/4" Ramen Bowl 38 oz, Black and Brown — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Thirty-eight ounces, eight inches across, three and a quarter inches of wall. A bowl at this volume is a main course on its own: ramen with a double portion of noodles, a bowl of pho with the herbs still to come, or a large soup served as the centre of a lunch. The footprint remains within a normal cover, so the table still works around it.

Black melamine at this size does real work. A deep bowl of soy-based broth sits in contact with the wall for the length of a meal, and on a pale surface that contact leaves a mark that accumulates; here it does not. The brown exterior band keeps a large dark bowl from reading as a void on the table. Twenty-four to the case matches the turnover of a bowl this size on a noodle line.

Sold by the full case. Case of 24 (2 dz)
