Yanco NA-107 Nature Art Melamine 7-1/2" x 3/4" Round Plate, White and Brown — Case of 48 (4 dz)

At seven and a half inches across and three quarters of an inch tall, the NA-107 is the bread plate in the Nature Art line-up — the piece that sits to the left of a cover and carries a roll, a pat of butter, a wedge of pita or a side of pickles. The rim is shallow enough to stack tightly in a plate caddy and wide enough to keep a knife from sliding off.

Where it fits on the table

Melamine gives it the weight and surface of china without the breakage, which matters on a plate this small: bread plates are cleared quickly and handled roughly. The white ground reads clean under warm dining-room light, and the brown edge banding hides the scuffs that pale tableware shows after a few hundred cycles. Pair it with the nine-inch NA-109 for a two-plate cover, or use it on its own for amuse service.
