Yanco MS-710RD Milestone Melamine 10" 3-Compartment Plate, Orange Red — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Orange red makes the MS-710RD easy to pick out of a stack, which is why it tends to be assigned to a specific diet, allergy or service tier rather than used as a general plate. The format underneath is Milestone's three-section round: ten inches across, five-eighths of an inch high, with the dividers moulded into the body.

Separation is the function. A sauced entree stays out of the salad, a hot side does not warm a cold one, and a tray can be assembled by one person and carried by another without the contents meeting. The heavy melamine body of the plate takes the knocks that go with that handling.
