Yanco MS-5809GR Milestone Melamine 9-1/4" x 1-1/4"H Pasta Bowl - 13 oz, Green — Case of 24 (2 dz)
The MS-5809GR is the shallow end of Milestone's pasta pair, nine and a quarter inches wide with an inch-and-a-quarter wall, and the bowl holds thirteen ounces. That proportion is chosen for presentation: sauce pools rather than drowns, and the garnish stays visible at the centre instead of sliding down a steep side. Green suits vegetable-forward kitchens, and pesto, primavera and herb-dressed grains all sit well in it.

A bowl this wide has to be rigid, and the extra heavy weight melamine Yanco uses in this line gives it that without the mass of china. It will not shatter if a server catches the rim on a doorframe, and it goes straight into a commercial machine afterwards.
