Yanco MS-303RD Milestone Melamine 4" x 2"H Bouillon Cup - 7 oz, Orange Red — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Orange red is the shade kitchens reach for when a cup has to be spotted from across a steam table. On a four inch round that stands two inches high, the color does much of the signalling work, and staff can tell a seven ounce broth cup from an eight ounce one at a glance.

Portion control is the quieter argument. Seven ounces of soup is a starter, not a meal, and a cup this size makes that decision for the server instead of leaving it to a ladle. Break-resistant melamine takes the knocks of a cafeteria run, and the carton holds forty-eight.
