Scale is the whole argument for this platter: at 13-1/2" x 10-1/2" it carries roughly a third more surface than Milestone's 12" oval and is the largest serving piece the pattern offers. Ivory keeps a big expanse of melamine from looking stark when the food has been picked over. Use the platter for a carved joint, a whole side of salmon, a bread and cheese course for a long table.
