Yanco MS-109RD Milestone Melamine 9" Narrow Rim Round Plate, Orange Red — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Put an orange red nine-inch plate on a cafeteria line and nobody has to be told which station it belongs to. That is the practical case for the shade; the aesthetic one is that a saturated colour under a plain narrow rim makes an ordinary portion look deliberate. Nine inches handles a full hot entrée, and at three-quarters of an inch the wall is thicker than either of the narrow-rim rounds below it. Melamine holds temperature longer than china off a hot pass, which buys a runner a few minutes on a long walk to the table. Two dozen to the box.
