White at 7-1/2 inches is the default appetizer plate, and in melamine it goes places china cannot — pool decks, catering tents, room-service trolleys, anywhere a dropped piece would otherwise mean a broom. The narrow rim profile keeps more of the diameter available for food than Milestone's wide-rim MS-007 at the same 7-1/2", so a half portion still reads as a full plate. Five-eighths of an inch of height is what lets forty-eight of them travel in a box a cook can carry. Dishwasher safe at commercial temperatures, and the surface stays matte rather than going chalky with age.
