Six and a half inches across with a rim barely five-eighths of an inch deep, this plate sits at the bottom of Milestone's narrow-rim ladder — the profile runs 6-1/2", 7-1/2", 9" and 10-1/2", and nothing shorter than this exists in it. A narrow rim leaves more usable surface for the same footprint than the wide-rim MS-006 plate at the identical diameter, which matters when a side salad or a wedge of pie has to look generous on a small round. White melamine reads as plain china under warm light and takes sauce staining far less readily than a porous body would. Four dozen arrive in a box light enough for one person to shelve.
