Yanco MS-012BU Milestone Melamine 12" Wide Rim Round Plate, Blue — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Twelve inches across and a full inch in section, the MS-012BU is the largest round plate Milestone makes and the thickest of its plates. The extra quarter-inch of material over the 10-1/2" is not cosmetic — a plate this wide needs the section or it flexes when it is carried loaded.

At this diameter the plate stops being a dinner plate in the ordinary sense and becomes a service or presentation round: a shared main, a composed plate with space around it, an under-plate for a bowl. Blue suits that role. Only one dozen fit a case, a quarter of what the bread plate ships in. Extra heavy weight melamine, break-resistant, dishwasher safe.
