An ivory 10-1/2" dinner plate is close to the default in hotel banqueting and senior dining, because the warm neutral works under tungsten light and with linen in a way a cold white does not. The MS-010IV holds a wide rim over a 3/4" body, giving a clean border for plating and a cool edge for the server.

Melamine at extra heavy weight is the reason this plate is in a banquet department rather than china: it comes off a stacking trolley a thousand times a month and is break-resistant rather than merely robust. It washes on the normal cycle and arrives two dozen to the carton.
