The MR-502 is the smallest item Mars makes — a 2-7/8 inch sauce dish, an inch tall, holding an ounce and a half. That is a dipping portion: soy, aioli, a vinaigrette on the side, a measure of chili oil.

It is also the only Mars item packed four dozen to the case, because a dining room goes through small sauce dishes faster than anything else on the shelf. The blue band is proportionally bolder at this scale than it is on a dinner plate, so a tray of them still reads as part of the set from across the room.
