Yanco MR-408 Mars Chinaware 9" x 2-3/8" Soup Plate 12 oz, White and Blue — Case of 24 (2 dz)

The MR-408 is the rimmed soup plate at nine inches, with a 2-3/8 inch wall holding twelve ounces to the brim. It is the deep-welled version of the classic soup bowl on a plate footprint, so it sits flat on a charger and takes a spoon from any angle.

Its near neighbour the MR-409 shares almost the same diameter but stands only 1-5/8 inches tall and holds nine ounces — the shallow version of the same idea. Pick this one when the kitchen sends out broth-forward soups that need headroom in the bowl.
