Yanco MR-109 Mars Chinaware 9-1/4" x 7/8" Dinner Plate, White and Blue — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Nine and a quarter inches is the luncheon size, and Yanco's own list names the MR-109 a lunch plate even though the printed title carries the dinner-plate word. In service it is the plate for a sandwich and a side, a half portion of an entree, or the main course at a seated breakfast.

A 7/8 inch wall stays shallow enough to stack deep in a warmer and tall enough to contain something sauced. Set against the 10-1/4 inch MR-110 it saves a full inch of table width, which tells on a four-top already laid with bread plates and glassware.
