Twenty-five ounces in a 7" round makes the MM-80 a deep bowl rather than a wide one: 2-1/8" of wall, a tight floor, and volume enough for a full soup course, a noodle portion or a rice bowl.

It is the compact member of Miami's three deep rounds, with the 8" MM-81 and the 9" MM-82 above it. At this width it still drops into a standard bowl rack cell and sits on an underliner plate, which the larger two will not always do. Kitchens use it for pho, ramen, chilli, stew and anything else wanting depth over spread. Two dozen to the case, bone white chinaware, embossed outer wall.
