A nappie is the deep round that sits between a fruit dish and a soup bowl, and the MM-15 is Miami's version: 6" across, a full 2" deep, 12.5 ounces.

That depth is what separates it from the 6-3/8" MM-10 grapefruit bowl, which is slightly wider, noticeably shallower and holds an ounce less. Nappies take vegetables, a side of rice, chilli, oatmeal or ice cream, anything that needs walls to hold it. Thirty-six to the carton suits an operation putting one on every cover.
