This is the widest square Main Land makes, and the step up from the 12-inch ML-112 adds roughly 52 square inches of face — the difference between a shared starter and a full centre-of-table presentation. At this width two servers usually move the platter between them, so a carved roast or a dressed salad can be built in the kitchen and carried out whole rather than assembled in front of guests.
