Main Land’s cup is a 3-inch square in bright white chinaware holding 7 ounces, which is the ordinary American coffee pour rather than a demitasse measure or a tall mug fill.

It is the only cup Yanco lists anywhere in Main Land, and it seats on the matching ML-002 saucer, a 5-1/2 inch square that still leaves margin for a spoon and a wrapped biscuit beside the foot. The squared wall reads as a deliberate shape against round dinnerware, so a room running mixed tableware gets a beverage vessel that still stacks on a shelf without wasting depth. Seven ounces is also the size that lets a server top a table of four from one pot without a second trip.
