Twelve inches across with a 1-1/4 inch wall, the MI-112 tops the Misty round range and is still catalogued as a dinner plate: the house rule keeps plain rounds below 14 inches on the plate side of the plate-platter line.

That extra width changes what the plate is for, taking a shared main, a mixed grill or a composed dish with several components that would run together on the 10-1/2 inch MI-110. Its 1-1/4 inch wall is deeper than any other round plate in the pattern, so it holds a wetter dish.
