Yanco ME-4109 Mexico Melamine 10" x 4"H Square Bowl 4 qt, Red with Speckles — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Ten inches square and four inches deep, the ME-4109 is a four-quart serving bowl — one hundred twenty-eight ounces, double the two-quart ME-4107, and the piece Mexico uses for buffet and family-style volume.

A serving bowl this size holds salad for a dozen covers, a batch of rice, or a mound of tortilla chips that lasts a table through a round of drinks. The square outline sits flush against chafers and the other square pieces on a line, so a buffet reads as one service. Melamine keeps a full bowl liftable with one hand under the base, which a china piece of this volume would not be.
