Yanco MD-705 Milando Melamine 5" Square Bowl 16 oz, 3"H, White — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Four and three quarter inches square and three inches deep, holding sixteen ounces. The MD-705 packs a surprising volume into a small square: three inches of wall on a footprint under five inches means the sides run close to vertical rather than flaring out.

That makes it a good side bowl — soup cup, rice, a portioned dessert — in rooms where table space is tight. It takes the same sixteen ounces as the eight-by-nine-inch sheer bowl in a footprint little more than half as wide, which is the whole argument for the shape. Four dozen fill a carton.
