Yanco LY-107BU Lyon-Blue Chinaware 7-1/4" x 1-1/8" Trapezoid Salad Plate, Blue — Case of 36 (3 dz)

The extra rise on this trapezoid salad plate builds a genuine wall rather than a lip, and the wall is what the eye catches when a server brings the piece in at an angle. Blue holds its depth on a near-vertical face and lightens across the floor, so leaves sit inside a visibly darker frame.

Green leaf and red chicory come forward against that; a pale potato or pasta salad recedes, which some kitchens prefer. The interior floor is flat and fully glazed with no foot ring intruding, so a fork draws across the salad plate without catching on a change of surface.
