Yanco LK-210 Lion King Chinaware 10" x 6" Rectangular Plate, Bright White — Case of 24 (2 dz)

Ten inches by six, three-quarters of an inch deep. Measured on its long edge this lands exactly on the ten-inch line, so it remains a plate rather than a platter, and that is how it works in practice: a rectangular entree cover for a protein with two accompaniments set in a row.

Asian and modern European services both use a narrow rectangle at this length for a main course, because the shape holds food in a band across the diner's view. Sixty square inches of surface, twenty-four to a case. Chinaware with alumina, bright white glaze, dishwasher and microwave rated.
