Yanco JP-8005 Japanese Melamine 12" Sushi Boat, Sand — Case of 12 (1 dz)

A sushi boat is a serving vessel with raised ends and a long shallow well, and the JP-8005 is Yanco's twelve inch version of it for the Japanese pattern. It is the only boat-shaped piece in the collection: nigiri and maki for two laid out along the length, a sashimi presentation, or an appetiser selection brought to a table whole.

One dozen in a case. Twelve inches is long enough for a two-person order without the pieces touching, and the raised ends keep rice and garnish from sliding off the way a flat board allows them to. Moulded melamine rather than lacquered wood, so it goes through a dish machine instead of being wiped down by hand.
