Yanco JP-5070 Japanese Melamine 8" Soup Bowl 36 oz, Sand — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Thirty six ounces is more than a pint and a half, and at eight inches wide the JP-5070 is a sharing bowl as much as a soup bowl. A hot pot portion for one, a large ramen, a noodle soup where the broth needs room above the noodles: all of it sits inside the rim rather than threatening it.

The move up from the seven inch bowl buys fourteen more ounces for one more inch of width, so this is the size to choose when the seven inch has been coming back empty. Four dozen in a carton, the last of the soup bowls Yanco packs four dozen deep. The melamine body shrugs off the knocks a bowl this size collects on a pass line, and it goes in the machine with the rest.
