JP-3002 is the open 5-1/2" bowl of the Japanese pattern, 12 ounces to the rim — a rice bowl, a side of noodles, a cereal bowl in a mixed-service dining room. Its sibling JP-3003 carries the same 5-1/2" width and the same 12 ounces in a soup-bowl profile, so a room can set both and let the shape rather than the volume do the signalling.

Against the collection’s 14-ounce and 22-ounce rice bowls this is the measured portion: rice beside a main, not a donburi. Four dozen to the case, in break-resistant melamine printed with the pattern’s abstract Japanese design over a Sand ground. Dishwasher safe.
