JP-3001 is the widest of the Japanese pattern’s round condiment dishes at 4-1/8", broader than both the 3-1/4" and the 3-3/4" sauce rounds, and the one Yanco gives a stated volume: 8 ounces. That is a real working capacity — a shared dipping sauce, a portion of miso-glazed vegetables, or tsukemono for two rather than one.

Four dozen to the case rather than the six the smaller sauce rounds ship in, which follows from the larger footprint.
