Yanco JP-1007 Japanese Melamine 7" Round Plate, Sand — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Seven inches is the salad-and-first-course size, and JP-1007 sits exactly one inch above the 6" round and one inch below the 8". That makes it the plate to pull when a starter wants more room than a dessert plate allows but must not read as a main course. Sunomono, a seaweed salad, agedashi tofu or a three-item appetizer all plate well at this width.

Melamine keeps the weight down against chinaware of the same diameter, which matters when a server carries four at once, and it survives the bussing station intact. Sand ground, abstract Japanese print, dishwasher safe, four dozen to the case.
