Yanco IB-110 Iris Blue Chinaware 10-1/4" x 1" Dinner Plate, Light Blue — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The 10-1/4 inch round is the Iris Blue dinner plate, an inch deep at the centre with a broad flat field for plating. There is room on this plate for a protein, a starch and a vegetable laid out separately rather than stacked, which is what separates it from the 9-1/4.

A plate this size is also a common choice as an under-plate for the 6-3/8 salad bowl or the 7-1/4 shallow bowl, since the foot of the bowl sits inside the plate's well without sliding. Twelve to the case keeps a reorder small enough to absorb breakage without over-stocking. The speckled field shows a sauce line cleanly, and the warm band at the edge frames the plating. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
