Yanco IB-012 Iris Blue Chinaware 3-5/8" x 4" Mug 12 oz, Light Blue — Case of 36 (3 dz)

A 12 ounce mug standing 4 inches tall on a 3-5/8 inch footprint, sized for a full cup of coffee with enough freeboard left at the rim that a loaded tray can be carried without slopping. The handle is the one grip in the Iris Blue line; every other piece in the pattern is lifted by its rim or its base.

The soft blue speckle sits under a clear glaze here, and the warm-toned band circles the lip where a drinker's mouth actually lands. Thirty-six to the case is a working breakfast quantity for a diner or a guesthouse running two sittings. The chinaware body takes a dishwasher cycle and a microwave reheat, so a cup that has gone cold can be brought back up without decanting it into something else.
