Yanco HS-5712 Houston Melamine 7-1/2" x 1-3/4"H Soup Bowl - 12 oz, White and Red — Case of 48 (4 dz)

Two inches wider and two ounces larger than the 5-1/2" soup bowl, this 7-1/2" soup bowl stands just 1-3/4" deep - a broad shallow well rather than a cup. That geometry is deliberate: 12 oz spread across a wide surface cools to eating temperature quickly and shows off what is in it, which suits noodle soups, ramen-style broths, minestrone with visible vegetables, curry over rice and grain bowls.

Yanco's own sheet lists this piece as a soup or salad bowl, and in practice kitchens do run it both ways - a composed salad fills the width well. Written as a soup bowl here so that the storefront filter resolves to one name. A carton holds four dozen, which keeps a line supplied for a full service.
