Yanco GN-610 GN Pan Melamine GN 1/4 Quarter Size 10.43" x 6.38" x 2.56" Pan, White — Case of 6

Quarter-size gastronorm is 265 x 162 mm, and four of them tile a full opening in a two-by-two grid. The quarter is where a line stops being about volume and starts being about choice: four small dishes in the space of one large one, each holding enough for a service period without any of it standing around too long.

At 65 mm and 1.4 L this is the shallow quarter, which suits garnishes, pickles, chopped onion, grated cheese, lemon wedges and the small accompaniments a counter runs through steadily. White melamine keeps pale items from disappearing into the pan. Dishwasher safe and resistant to chipping at the rim; it carries no rating for ovens, microwaves or any direct heat.
