Nine inches long but only four and a quarter wide, this is the narrowest oval Glory makes. The proportion is deliberate: a row of three or four small items reads along the length, and the seven-eighth inch lip keeps an oil or a reduction inside the dish instead of on the tablecloth.

Tapas bars and tasting menus use it for a single composed bite, while breakfast service sets it beside a plate for toast or a pastry. It is also the right outline for a fish course that would not sit well on a round. Speckled white porcelain, safe in dishwasher and microwave, three dozen to a box.
