Yanco GG-515 Green Gem Chinaware 16" x 5-5/8" x 3/4" Rectangular Platter, Green — Case of 12 (1 dz)

Sixteen inches end to end on a five and five eighths inch width, standing three quarters of an inch. A platter of this proportion is made for things that arrive in a line: skewers, a long roll order, grilled asparagus laid parallel, a row of sliders down a bar top.

Length is what it sells; at sixteen inches it spans a bar rail or runs down the centre of a narrow table where nothing squarer would fit. The shallow three-quarter-inch lip keeps everything visible from a standing position, which is how bar food gets looked at. A dozen to a case. Chinaware body, green glaze, dishwasher safe, microwave safe.
