Yanco GG-214 Green Gem Chinaware 14-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1-1/2" Oval Platter, Green — Case of 12 (1 dz)

14-1/2 inches end to end, 9-1/2 across, walled to an inch and a half. A platter at this scale is a carving and buffet piece: a turkey breast, a side of salmon, a tray of roasted vegetables brought out for a table of six or set down on a service line.

The extra quarter inch of wall over the twelve-inch oval is what lets it carry something wet across a dining room, and nine and a half inches of width means a carved item can be laid out in two rows instead of one. Heavy enough to want two hands when loaded. Twelve to a case, chinaware under green glaze, dishwasher and microwave safe.
