Just under ten inches across with an inch and a quarter of depth, the GB-9 carries more of a well than the nine inch GB-8 — worth having when an entrée arrives with enough sauce that a flatter rim would let it travel on the way to the table.

It falls between the GB-8 and the ten and a half inch GB-16, and in practice it is what a kitchen reaches for when the standard dinner round feels oversized for the portion being sent.
