An oval platter ten and three-eighths inches long by seven and a half wide and shallow at an inch, sized for a single portion of fish, a half chicken, or a row of appetisers laid end to end. Ovals plate differently from rounds: the long axis gives somewhere to lay a fillet or a line of garnish without stacking it.

It sits in the middle of the Green Band oval range — the GB-33 and GB-34 cover the appetiser sizes below it, the GB-13, GB-14 and GB-19 the service sizes above. Paired with the GB-16 dinner plate it makes a sensible two-piece service for a kitchen sending both plated mains and shared sides to the same table.
